Oxfam International's annual inequality report โ€” released each January at the World Economic Forum in Davos โ€” finds that the wealthiest one percent captured 63% of all new wealth generated globally over the past two years.

The report proposes a set of concrete policy responses: wealth taxes on ultra-high-net-worth individuals, closing corporate tax loopholes, and public investment in health, education, and climate adaptation in the Global South.
